Starscape

I was engulfed by the eternal sea of black. Its simplicity amused me. It was like a satin blanket, so large, that it sheltered everyone beneath itself. I basked in an emergent string of moonlight, adoring its watery pale luminescence. Stars studded the sky like freckles would a face. Fluorescent beams of light danced through the black sky, dazzling the dot-like stars as they glided along. The calm aura of the night sky clung onto me as I tucked myself into bed.
